A surveyor will come out to survey your property and prepare your elevation certificate to be submitted to the municipality for inspection of either your rough grade or your final grade, whichever applies. Before the survey we will need to receive your plot plan or a rough grade elevation certificate. As soon as we have submitted everything to the city, the city inspector will come take a look at your property and inspect if the grading complies with City standards. If so, it will be approved.
Disclaimer: If your grading fails you will receive notification of what to correct and can after correction call for a re-inspection. https://www.edmonton.ca/business_economy/commercial_lot_grading/fees .
